Alfasil Silicone Protection
Alkali-resistant silicone-based protective agent.
Prevents capillary penetration of rain and water splashes into the structure. Allows water vapour coming from inside to pass through. Reduces salt migration to the surface of the substrate and also risks for damages due to freezing.
Suitable for protection of most mineral materials like brick, sand-lime brick, light concrete, concrete, washed concrete, plastered and mineral board surfaces.

White Spirit 1050
Use the flow coating method to apply ALFASIL evenly with a garden spray at low pressure. A brush or long-napped roller can also be used.

Withstands cold storage and transportation.
The surface to be treated must be clean and dry, the temperature at least +5ºC and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %.
ALFASIL is applied on the surface evenly ”wet-on-wet” (2-3 consecutive treatments).
Cleaning of tools
Clean tools with White Spirit 1050.
At the earliest 1 month after the treatment a dirty surface can be cleaned with pressure washing and without detergent.
Tikkurila Mould Removal can be used to remove algae or mould. After Mould Removal treatment the surface has to be treated again with Silicone Protection.

ENVIRONMENTAL and WASTE DISPOSAL
Avoid spillage into drains, water systems and soil. Recycle empty, dry cans or dispose them of in accordance with local regulations. Destroy liquid waste according to the local regulations for hazardous waste.
