Finngard Silicone Protect

Alkali-resistant silicone-modified acrylic paint

  • Waterborne silicone paint with hydrophobic properties
  • Protects surfaces from moisture, ensuring durability
  • Highly resistant to fungi, mould, algae, and dirt buildup
  • Lifespan of over ten years
  • Ideal for traditional lime-cement and cement plasters, and can be applied to K-rend and lime render (not limewash)
  • Especially recommended for renovating thermal insulation systems made of expanded polystyrene and mineral wool
  • Tintable to a range of curated shades from the Façade 760 collection (colour matching not available)

Finish: Semi-matt | Base Colours: A, C | Can Sizes: 0.9L, 2.7L, 9L, 18L

Uses: Traditional lime-cement, cement plasters, mineral plasters, acrylic and concrete surfaces. Can be used for renovation of dispersion and mineral surfaces.

Finngard Opaque

Water-based acrylic paint for masonry

  • Elastomeric acrylic paint for masonry
  • Provides exceptional weather resistance and shields against chemical and biological erosion
  • Features anti-carbonation properties for added durability
  • Offers flexibility and an extremely durable finish
  • Ensures low maintenance with up to 20 years of protection
  • Tintable to a wide variety of shades, including colour-matching

Finish: Semi-matt | Base Colours: A, C | Can Sizes: 2.7L, 9L, 18L

Uses: New or previously painted exterior facades, including roughcast, pebbledash, concrete, cement, rendering, and previously primed wood and metal (not recommended for substrates previously coated with lime paint)

Finngard Uni Primer

Alkali-resistant silicone-modified acrylic paint

  • Improves opacity and adhesion for topcoat
  • Unifies colours for consistency with option to tint to pastel shades
  • Strengthens the structure of the substrate
  • Reduces and evens absorbency
  • Can be used as a primer for all Tikkurila masonry topcoats
  • Waterbased and ultra-low VOCs

Finish: Semi-matt | Base Colours: A, C | Can Sizes: 0.9L, 2.7L, 9L, 18L

Uses: Traditional lime-cement, cement plasters, mineral plasters, acrylic and concrete surfaces. Can be used for renovation of dispersion and mineral surfaces.

Hydrosol Masonry Primer

Water-based masonry primer

  • For binding old chalking coatings and mineral surfaces
  • Evens out absorbency and improves adhesion for topcoat
  • Penetrates well into the substrate to strengthen
  • Suitable for use under Finngard Opaque 
  • Water-based with low VOCs

Can Sizes: 9L, 18L

Uses: New or previously painted exterior façades including roughcast, pebbledash, concrete, cement rendering, building blocks and boards where absorbency is high

Our new release for 2024: Finngard Silicone Allweather - our advanced rainproof masonry paint. With an extended application temperature range, this coating can be applied earlier in spring and later into Autumn.

Our May Masonry promotion excludes Finngard Silicone Allweather.
