Your hallway makes a big first impression when people visit your home. And when it's time for something new, a fresh lick of paint can make all the difference. In this article, we'll walk you through the process of a hallway update completed by Caluna.
Preparation & Painting
The first step involved cleaning the surfaces and filling in any cracks before sanding them down in preparation for priming. The surfaces were treated with Otex Akva Primer, a high-quality primer designed for interior wooden surfaces. This primer offers optimal adhesion and provides a solid foundation for the subsequent painting process, ensuring a stunning and long-lasting result.
Once the surfaces were ready to paint, the team opted for Anti Reflex White for the ceiling. This best-seller eliminates flashing and removes imperfections, leaving behind a smooth surface. For a professional finish and a quick turnaround, the team used two coats of Optiva 3 Ceramic wall paint.
Per the customer's request, all the shades for this project were created using Tikkurila's Colour Matching Service which ensured the final results matched their individual style.
