Bert's Painting & Decorating Limited breathed new life into a newly fitted, bare MDF wardrobe with some help from Tikkurila paint. With its eight doors and custom-built design, this project demanded precision, expertise, and a keen eye for detail.
The team approached this project with care and attention to detail. Their process began with a vigorous preparation phase, essential for a flawless finish.
Preparation & Priming
To ensure a smooth foundation, the team filled all imperfections with a durable two-part epoxy. They then applied a coat of Everal Aqua Primer to seal the MDF and create an optimal surface for the topcoat.
Recognising the importance of a clean working environment, Bert's utilised an industrial extractor to minimise dust dispersion, safeguarding both the furniture and the client's home. To further minimise disruption to the client's home, the wardrobe doors and hinges were carefully removed and transported to Bert's workshop for the painting process.
Expert Application
Once prepared, the wardrobe received two coats of Everal Aqua paint, resulting in a stunningly durable finish with high resistance to UV and temperature changes, perfect for this well-lit space.
With the paint fully cured, the team meticulously reassembled the wardrobe, ensuring a perfect fit for all doors and hinges. The project concluded with a thorough cleaning of the room, leaving the space immaculate and ready for enjoyment.
The Result
Bert's Painting & Decorating Limited successfully transformed a plain MDF wardrobe into a stunning, bespoke piece of furniture. Their commitment to quality, attention to detail, and use of high-quality products like Everal Aqua paint resulted in a truly exceptional outcome. This project is a testament to the team's dedication to delivering exceptional results for their clients.
