Preparation

The preparation stage began with a thorough washdown of the kitchen cabinets with sugar soap, ensuring the removal of any accumulated dirt and grime. This crucial step laid the foundation for a smooth and flawless paint application. Next, a single coat of Otex Adhesion Primer was applied. This highly-adhesive primer not only acted as a reliable bonding agent between the surface and the paint but also served to enhance the durability, longevity, and colour of the final finish.

Painting

The painting process included the application of 3 coats of Helmi 30 - our best-selling interior wood paint in a semi-matt finish (30%). Each coat was expertly applied, ensuring an even and flawless coverage that brought the cabinets to life with a modern-day quality. Helmi is renowned for its exceptional durability, forming a tough and resilient film that can withstand repeated scrubbing and washing, making it the ideal choice for kitchen cabinets that require easy maintenance and protection from daily wear and tear.
