How To Cover Bitumen Marks?

Bitumen is a black viscous oily mixture obtained naturally or as a residue from petroleum distillation. It is used for road surfacing and roofing. Normally found externally it can cause staining or bleed through.

The best approach is to clean the affected area thoroughly with a strong degreasing agent, our Mould Removal Solution is hypochlorite based and will aid the removal of the Bitumen. If the marks are internal use our Akrostop Sealing Paint prior the application of any top coat.
